Sometimes I think we often overlook all the ways that God is showing us His majesty by using people already in our lives: past and present. As I was reading Psalm 76 it reminded me of times when, as a kid, I would look to my dad. I saw him as someone that protected me and would be my superhero in times of need. But to be sons and daughter of the living God! And to think how much more He can do than our earthly fathers. To be under the protection of God and to know He is for us is something I think we take for granted these days. We are not under persecution like the psalmist in this story; but still, I think it is something truly special to rest in the fact that, even if we were persecuted on every side, we have a God that is for us and will be our Rescuer. To know that He is not only the author of our salvation but also our protector. I hope that everyone can rest in the fact that there is nothing that is too big for God to take care of. I pray that we would always look to God and seek Him in every aspect of our life.
