Psalm 65

Read Psalm 65.

Lord, as we approach the celebration of your resurrection keep us sensitive, and even renew our faculties to receive, the realities in which we exist. That we have a God who longs for relationship with us and has given us means to do so. That you haven't put us on a path that will leave us unsatisfied no matter how much our flesh may try to tell us otherwise.

Open our hearts to the awesome deeds we're constantly surrounded by and let us not forget where they come from. Mountains don't just exist, you shaped them. Waves don't just recede, you calm them. Renew our hearts for the amazing creation in which we exist. Let all the good you have surrounded us with create awe and in turn understand what an amazing God, creator, sustainer we get to turn to daily.
